Dr. Caroline Kim joined the staff of Marina Pet Hospital in June 2002. A San Francisco Native, Dr. Kim attended the University of Pennsylvania and majored in biology. She received her bachelor's degree in pre-med in 1992, and went on to attend veterinary school at the University of California at Davis. She received her veterinary medicine degree in 1996.
Dr. Kim has a special interest in surgery, and is certified in treating Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) cases.
Before coming to Marina Pet Hospital, Dr. Kim worked at Old Town Veterinary Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. from 1998 to 2002; and at Old Town Veterinary Hospital in Colma, Calif. from 1996 to 1998. Dr. Kim also worked as a surgeon extern at the Animal Medical Center in New York, NY from 1995 to 1996.
Dr. Kim is a member of the California Veterinary Medical Association; the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. When she's not caring for others' pets at Marina Pet Hospital, Dr. Kim spends time with her two cats, Seymour and Ike.
